The PaddlePointer is designed for ultimate ease of use. Its flexible silicone top fits virtually any paddle—simply stretch it over to attach. Update your score with a quick spin of the top dial and track your opponent’s score using the bottom dial. A simple flick of the switch at the base helps you keep track of the server. Once you’re familiar with it, using the PaddlePointer becomes second nature, and the tactile feedback allows you to adjust scores and server without even looking.

For nearly everyone, the PaddlePointer does not interfere with play. If you hold the paddle extremely low on the handle, you might feel the silicone top, but since it’s made of the same material as many overgrips, it doesn’t affect your performance. The PaddlePointer’s weight is negligible due to its location on the paddle and at most it may enhance the size of your paddle’s sweet spot. 

The PaddlePointer was designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, while allowing you to keep your focus on the game without needing two hands to operate. Since it attaches directly to the paddle you’re already holding, your free hand remains available to easily update the score. There’s no need to fumble in your pocket or awkwardly balance the paddle between your legs as with other scorekeepers that require both hands to use.
